Re: Obscure Pet Shop Boys - New Live shows
Maybe they should allow fans who've bought "x" amount of Annually previously a day early pre sale option? They have a record in our accounts of all our previous purchases from their shop.

Something tells me any ideas (great ones by the way) we have to mitigate the scalpers and ensure fans get first stab at tickets is going to be completely ignored and it will just go straight to a website that literally anyone can access.

Yes, can't see it happening sadly so it will be a free for all and tickets going for thousands of pounds afterwards.Sithblade wrote: Tue 11 Nov 2025, 7:12 pm Maybe they should allow fans who've bought "x" amount of Annually previously a day early pre sale option? This is absolutely brilliant news. However, I’ll temper my enthusiasm with the fact I probably won’t get a ticket and some 17 year old who’s vaguely heard of the pet shop boys will nail two and bring along their friend who doesn’t like them anyway. Then they both leave after 4 songs because they haven’t played west end girls.

Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning.
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Very true!
I hope they have a sense of humour and launch tickets

Do we know when they’re going on sale?
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

Ok, right, but we’re not thinking they’re going to go on sale tomorrow, right?

Let's just keep hoping for a miracle.
For only the dark can show you the stars.
Otherwise, I'll be crying for all of us!
(Already crying for me actually, as I'll be here in Brasil by then)
Let's enjoy it all while it lasts.

I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with it if I don't get a ticket. And I suspect the odds are stacked against getting one. But hey, what’s the matter with me? Why so serious? Why so blue?
What about: buying the full tea set gets you a ticket. That would move them.

I’m finding it hard to accept that I probably won’t get a ticket. This is the concert I have been dreaming of for 30+ years. But I always hoped they’d do a one off date in an arena to allow all fans the chance of getting a ticket. I still think they’d sell out one night at the O2 doing this show. I guess the only hope for most of us is that they film it or record it for release. Won’t be the same but better than nothing.

One can hope that off the back the unprecedented demand, they 'll do a 30 night residency somewhere. Like the Savoy concerts.....

With you on every point here, canveyboy. I don't think I've ever wanted to go to a show as much as this one! But also have to accept the maths. Wishing you (and everyone) luck whatever it turns out the system is!canveyboy wrote: Wed 12 Nov 2025, 6:34 am I’m finding it hard to accept that I probably won’t get a ticket. I must disengage your recreational music.

Absolutely..I’ve wanted this kind of gig way more than the type of gig Dreamworld was! Likewise, the best of luck to you and everyone!!Ramzy wrote: Wed 12 Nov 2025, 8:24 amWith you on every point here, canveyboy. I don't think I've ever wanted to go to a show as much as this one!
