I prepared by exploring the booking site, tried the ordering flow by booking tickets for a different show (cancelled the order at the last stage, of course) so I knew how to order fast. I then also noticed that PayPal was one of the payment options, and I decided to go with PayPal since it’s faster than entering your card details and go to a verification page etc.

I had two codes from ordering Volume, and I prepared two browser windows (using two different browsers). One code in one browser, the other code in the other. Both browsers got to that “please wait here” page. I let one browser do the auto-reload thing by itself, while I manually reloaded the page in the other browser. Actually, the first browser (where I didn’t press reload over and over again) suddenly loaded the page and I could order the tickets. I only wanted two tickets so I did not proceed with the second browser.
That's more or less what I did too. It said not to refresh manually, so I took it on trust, and sure enough one of them came through for me.

Didn’t try for tickets, I’m saving for a flat. Sort of glad to avoid the stress of competing for them. But how much were they?

I hope it doesn't count as "fan favourite" ;)
Yeah..terrible song IMO, lol..there are way better songs than that that need playing live before that forgettable track!! Imagine they played that but not A New Life or something like that!!
Its taken me all of my life to find you

A "PSB b-sides" gig is a dream. I cannot wait to experience it. Alternative and Format were going to be binned from my playlist if I didn't get tickets!

This! 😁

Maybe it was the fact it's not through the giant ticket sellers like Ticketmaster and there was a pretty obscure link (get it? 😄) to get the resale, that the usual scumbag resellers were mainly kept away?
i was think that the fact you had to copy and paste in a code would have helped as well most pre sale emails i have had take you into the queue directly on this you had to pick a day and then paste the code

Well, I'd be delighted if they played it (even instead of A New Life, which I enjoy too). It's my favourite song from the Super era.

What's the refund policy? Asking for a friend.

Two tickets for Monday - astonished as I never have any luck with ticket pre-sales.

Both AXS and SeeTickets have the shows listed for Friday. Should I try there first or should I try the official store to be redirected?

Wiedersehen is probably my favourite non-album track from this century. I'd take a whole album in that vein. Please.

Anyway, congratulations to everyone getting tickets. Let's hope they put on some more shows like that later next year, perhaps outside London, another week long residency somewhere the same sort of size would be great. Newcastle or Blackpool would be fine with me if they want to get their life/work balance right (despite not living near either myself).

On the point raised about mobile phones … I would be surprised if they confiscated these as they would have made it clear upfront on the tour flyers etc.

Also not likely to be imposed as no new material being played.
I was at the Nonetheless first play where it made sense. Also went to the mystery show for the Gorillaz new album preview which is out next year and all mobiles went into a Yondr pouch. It was very cool experience to not see the glare of mobile phones at a gig again … very 1990s.

I will likely film a bit here and there to aid my old memory in coming years assuming I can actually see anything being a shorty
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

That was my experience. I was ready for giving up, but refreshed one last time and was taken to AXS and bagged a ticket there.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Yeah, definitely.

Quite a set of hoops to jump through to get to the point of actually buying them.
