- One Thing leads to Another (a perfect sing along song for the end before the encore)

- Bounce (the big quality song fans were looking for on the net for ages, very emotional)
- The Dark End of the Street (a cover, almost the last song they have released with a dancing par for the end, it works with the title of the show).

Hello. When choosing from songs that were not released as singles the options are much broader. iEven if they only opted for songs they've never performed before, the possibilities are still numerous. It will be difficult for fans lucky enough to be there not to miss some songs.
Personally, thinking about B-sides, I'd be very disappointed if they didn't play "Hit and Miss" and "An Open Mind."
I hope they're great concerts and that the fans lucky enough to attend enjoy them immensely.
And I also hope this encourages a third B-sides album.

Truck Driver is the 2nd opening song of the Somewhere tour.
I agree that playlist is shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

The problem with a lot of these playlists is they're isolated to a section of PSB's catalogue, essentially Alternative Disc 1 or Alternative Disc 2. There are plenty of really great songs from all eras to choose from. The ideal set would have a mixture of all 5 decades worth of obscurities.
It's wonderful when PSB follow up an older song with a newer one, in my opinion.
Some of the new ones are way better than the early 90s material.

Another problem is I think people are choosing songs they simply have a personal connection with, opposed to objectively better songs and ones that would work well live. Nickname's list is way too mellow for a live set.

Anyway, just to steer the conversation a bit, here's a set list I've just came up with.
I'm choosing 26 tracks because that's how long the Dreamworld tour is.

By the way, they have 180+ songs that qualify to be included in Obscure.
Honestly you could basically just randomly generate a playlist out of the whole 180+ songs that qualify (criteria being, no singles, no songs previously performed live in their original form) and it'd still be very very good.

All songs previously never performed except The Way It Used To Be. October has only been done with guest vocals. Tonight Is Forever was only an excerpt. Young Offender has only been done as a remix, though it's replaceable w/ One and One Make Five or A Different Point Of View if needed.

I don't think anyone has suggested Give Stupidity A Chance. But I've revisited it in exploring PSB Obscurities and it's quite the fun song. I can see it going well live, it's easy to follow and a little snide and bitchy. Donald Trump is still in office now, so the song is relevant and I think Neil + Chris would enjoy performing it. It's a light hearted song opposed to the others that will tug our heartstrings and give us flashbacks of euphoric nostalgia, but that's okay to diversify the set.
Feel free to share your opinions! Personally I think this set looks incredible. So many really awesome hard hitting songs. Listen to Get It Online and picture it with massive speakers. Also it has vocals from Chris. Segwaying it into the fantastic On Social Media seems clever to me.
My set also gives love to those core handful of b-sides from the first couple of albums. Don Juan and Jack The Lad are pretty stella. I think all 5 decades are important to touch on.

As you have been so "kind" about my list, I'll do the same about yours and explaining why:

1) I think your list is more random that mine. All of us give a chance to our personal taste but I think you go more far than me on that. I think songs like The Way It Used to Be or Social Media are good tracks to put on the list but leaving songs like I didn't get Where I am Today, A Certain 'Je ne sais quoi' or The Dark End of the Street is a sin.

2) Tina y Krysia deserve their tribute, you don't give them a chance for it.

3) Chris could sing Lies, he has never been playing this song before.

3) The last part of your list has these songs. My October Symphony Tonight Is Forever Jack the Lad New Boy Radiophonic That's My Impression Vulnerable Young Offender Give Stupidity a Chance The Way It Used to Be Here Decide. Ok, you like those song but I see no joy. Ballads, dowtempo songs and songs you can't even dance with them. Maybe Radiophonic and Young Offender are the only ones. A really boring last part of the show.

4) An ending with The Dark End of the Street would give a full sense to the concept Obscure and it was their last release by now.
