Isn't this just a very basic compilation of tracks from Please, Actually and the 12" singles? What aspect of it is "on the shelf"?
You're partly right. I guess I was thinking of art work, the release of 12" mixes and Always on my mind on it. Before Further listening and re-release of maxis on CD the original cassette promo would've been something from the shelf.
Nowadays a proper soundtrack release of all songs featured in the movie and in their movie mix (think of f e the aeroplane intro to 2/0) would be something from the shelves.

I think this is the most likely, but would need to be 4 x CDs: 2 for the latest B-sides; 2 for the live recording. Maybe it'd be a 2 x CD standard edition, and a limited edition 4 x CD including the live recording.
