Re: New T-Shirt on the official site
I wouldn't buy either of them. The latter is far too flamboyant. Besides, the only times I wear merchandise are at the gym, on lazy days at home, or in bed. So, generally, I don't care anymore. However, I have more or less decided to buy the latest Annually shirt, as I think the photograph looks fabulous. I just don't know what occasion I'd wear it for…
Still, I think their merchandise is as lazy as their audience. The design can't be the reason why people wear it. So why make an effort when it sells anyway?

What's that meant to be?
I wouldn't wear something like that, to be honest.
But it's interesting that a band as into style as their sleeves and costume choices suggest routinely has such terrible shirt design.

Nice looking and very 80s, but don't get what it's meant to be. Looks a bit like the "head banging the wall" emoji!

What about... let's rotate the sleeve like 45°!!!
Wow. Genious!!! Here's your check, designer. We're glad we hired a proper company for this.

I've been using the last Annually one for a couple days now while on vacations. And the disco 5 one I used it for Christmas and New Years eve. I got a couple compliments on that one, actually.
The other day at the beach one guy passed me by and gave me a thumb up and a "Pet shop boys Yoohooo!".

I mean... that's literally graphic design. The tiny details that make something better. Compare the UK and US versions of Please - the smallest difference, but it makes a huge difference. This turns the cover itself into a graphic element, especially with the text details on the side.lalolalo wrote: Tue 13 Jan 2026, 6:59 pm What about... let's rotate the sleeve like 45°!!!

It would be funny if it were actually rotated just 40 degrees.lalolalo wrote: Tue 13 Jan 2026, 6:59 pm What about... let's rotate the sleeve like 45°!!!
