I think you'll get your tickets digitally a week prior the event. Why do you need your concert ticket to book a flight?jasonjohn wrote: Mon 02 Feb 2026, 1:58 am Anyone actually got their tickets yet? It's getting a bit late for me to book cheapish flights
Re: Obscure Pet Shop Boys - New Live shows
Admittedly it's a little nerve racking putting out $'s for flights and hotels when you don't even have the tickets secured on your device yet. I'm in the exact same boat, but the emails do state the tickets will be sent out closer to the time. Not much comfort though.

I have a feeling (or hope) they will play one or two of the following:
Bounce
You’ve Got to Start Somewhere
In the Club or in the Queue

My 17y/o daughter, who more than dabbles in PSB music, was asking me what they might play for Obscure, and rolled through her playlist of favourite PSB song she listens to, so I was telling her which ones "might" be, and which ones were most likely NOT candidates for the concert.
Her playlist did have some contenders, which was gratifying to know she'd delved into their work beyond the hits, but not many, so I told her she might need to visit either an Obscure playlist on Spotify or at the very least listen to Alternative and Format before we go.
I'm assuming she'll be one of the youngest attendees at these shows.

I want a lover would be perfect as an opener. I'm unsure they have played it before. I can imagine Neil grinning whilst singing it/

It's worth considering their age. I don't think this song would be appropriate for an old person. Regardless, it's possible, but I don't think Neil would want to sing it.Tom Angel wrote: Tue 17 Feb 2026, 1:53 pm I want a lover would be perfect as an opener. I'm unsure they have played it before. I think it's the only thing she really wants to hear them play.

So the day you get your bus pass is the day your genitals cease functioning...?babi7808 wrote: Tue 17 Feb 2026, 2:28 pmIt's worth considering their age. That's not what I was talking about. He still sings about love, he's absolutely beautiful, but I doubt he'd want a lover. Do you think Chris would perform We Are Feel Better in the Dark? Now.Do you think he would? But I'm seriously interested.

Sounds like a killer opening line for the opening track on the Boys' final albumIt can be two things wrote: Tue 17 Feb 2026, 3:16 pmSo the day you get your bus pass is the day your genitals cease functioning...?babi7808 wrote: Tue 17 Feb 2026, 2:28 pmIt's worth considering their age. I think folk may be setting themselves up for disappointment if so. There are so many strong album tracks that rarely or never get a look-in. I'd expect those to form the bulk of the set.Danimal wrote: Sun 01 Feb 2026, 10:14 pm Judging by preferences expressed on this thread, it seems the hardcore fanbase would prefer shows consisting mainly though not exclusively of b-sides. I wonder if that’s what we’ll get?

There's an astonishing amount of material they could dig into. The Obscure Spotify playlist that was created is nearly 18 hours and 251 songs long.OakeyDokey wrote: Tue 17 Feb 2026, 3:56 pmI think folk may be setting themselves up for disappointment if so.
