Got mine at HMV - CDs sound decent to me
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning.
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Watched this last night here in NYC - what a fantastic show and a moving ending. Overall it sounds much better than when I watched it in a movie theater in early 2024. I do hope they bring this back to the US at some point, there were talks of it but so far nothing confirmed.....I saw the shorter version when they toured with New Order but would like to see the full show again.

Well, I got a notification from the OFFICIAL US STORE yesterday that my DVD is on the way!
It is expected to arrive by Wednesday March 4. It's coming from Fontana, CA, which is a distance of not much more than sixty miles from my house.
Guess I'll have to make do with that stunning Vina del Mar footage while I wait!

Well, on the plus side, a Blu-ray player will probably still get here from Amazon before it arrives!

I got the Dreamworld film and CDs from the official store in DC today. The image looks great on my TV. I had forgotten how good Jealousy sounds.

Got the bluray today and they messed up the surround mix again. The PCM stereo soundtrack sounds great, but in the DTS-HD mix the surround channels are way too loud and overwhelming and the centre channel with the vocals is way too low in the mix.
It's not as bad as the PAL Somewhere DVD 5.1 mix where Neil's vocals are barely audible, but certainly nog great. I have plenty of DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD mixes for comparison so it's nor my setup.
Wonders what others think of this surround mix.
The picture quality is also overly bright, with everything black being blue-greyish. Of course it is not a 4K HDR release but still much too bright compared to other 1080p blurays.

I did also notice a higher than usual sound level in my rear speakers but it didn’t dominate the vocals and the music for me.
Actually, I quite like the atmosphere it gives. Felt more like being in the crowd.
As you say, nothing like the Somewhere DVD which was virtually unlistenable.

But the crowd sounds are not coming from the rear channels, that would have been fine, but it's mostly music, which is a bit of an odd choice.herts101 wrote: Wed 04 Mar 2026, 11:36 am I did also notice a higher than usual sound level in my rear speakers but it didn’t dominate the vocals and the music for me.

I found listening to the surround mix exhausting, so I switched to the PCM stereo track, which is so much better balanced imo.

There's something up with the sound during Left to my own devices on the Blu-ray. It suddenly goes muffled during the pre-vocal intro. Anyone else getting this? I'm wondering if I need to return my copy.

Just wondering about the short piece of intro music right at the beginning before Suburbia.
Is this an unkonwn PSB written track? Presumably they didn't include 'Babel' for licensing reasons.

My blu-ray hasn't arrived yet but they have uploaded the video to YouTubedaveid wrote: Thu 05 Mar 2026, 6:08 pm There's something up with the sound during Left to my own devices on the Blu-ray. Does your version sound different to this?
