I just needed to give Wayne the biggest Congratulations. My copy of PSB Song by Song, Vol. 1, arrived yesterday (from Amazon). So satisfying to have all that background and insight in reach and bound so handsomely in a book. I didn't realize it would be such a nice-sized, hardbound book. And it's so complete! I've looked to your site so often for an angle into one song or another. It's just amazing to be able to hold all that in my hands now. And a whole second volume to come! I know you're going through the hardest of times this year, but I hope there's room for a little pride in this achievement, one that means so much to your fellow fans. I know George's support, and forbearance, I imagine , is part of the fabric of the thing. Congratulations and thank you so much, Wayne.

Thank you very much! That means more than I can say! Actually, my website contains a LOT more information, but these books have given me an opportunity to "boil it down" to what I consider the most important material and to "refine" it by being more careful and conscientious about my writing style. And I consider George very much an extremely important "supporting player" in the entire endeavor. I'm grateful that my publisher gave me the opportunity to include in Volume 2 my dedication of both volumes to George in the Acknowledgements.

I got my Geowayne book (Volume 1) for Kindle given I take the 13" of electronic bliss that is my iPad everywhere.

I've also uploaded my entire digitised Pet Shop Boys collection onto it as well for good measure. Two for the price of one!

I'm waiting to hear back from my publisher about this development. As little as three weeks ago, they told me that they weren't aware of anything that would significantly delay its scheduled March 30 release. So if this October release is accurate, I find it very distressing news! Interestingly, one of my publisher's online ordering platforms says that it's currently available, whereas another one doesn't list it at all right now. As soon as I learn more for sure, I'll be sharing the news.

Curiously, German websites (Amazon, Thalia) seem to have the American date, May 30th. Seems unusual. Obviously my Thalia preorder hasn't given signs of life yet (but then, I'm in no hurry). Fingers crossed!

I got an email from Amazon UK the other day informing me of a delay to the release but without an actual new release date.
