Thanks for sharing! Great reception of the crowd. For me this is the most obvious album track of all their b-sides. How I wish they'd could go back in time and include it on Behaviour like it deserved.
Have just returned back home after Friday nights performance. Am actually feeling quite emotional.
I’ve been a fan since Actually. As with many, as soon as I heard it I quickly searched out all earlier 12 inches and albums.
To hear manny of those obscure tracks stood next to my wife (who I meet at university due to our shared love of PSB) was magical.
So many highlights . Hit and Miss, one of my favourite songs. Miserabalism, a song I remember to listening to on cassette single on my way home from college, and possibly the highlight, your funny uncle, which genuinely moved me to tears last night.
Neil and Chris were both so warm and in form last night. You could see they genuinely appreciated the fan reaction and love their songs. I loved Chris’ bopping behind his keyboard and the joke he was having with Sylvia.
I’ve been to every tour since 1989, and can honestly say last nights was the best I’ve ever seen.
Oh and how good is Clare. Her performance blew me away at Dreamworld, but she raised it another level last night!
Amazing show last night (Friday 10th)
A minor negative was the venue. Crowded, lots of background noise, people talking - drowning out the music. It was very difficult to get a view, unless you were in first few rows but worth all this for a ‘one off’ event.
The show was one of the best I have seen the boys perform. Neil’s voice was fantastic and the song selection just made it all the more special by being so unique. Great to not just hear the singles.
Highlights for me were Miserabalism (everyone singing along), Later tonight and It couldn’t happen here.
Hearing these more ‘obscure’ tracks just makes me love Pet shop boys more (if that’s possible)
And there are so many more tracks they could have done.
We need an Obscure 2 soon!
Finally got to experience my namesake! For a song called 'Miserabalism', hearing it live was an absolutely euphoric moment. This song absolutely has to be played live again sometime.
Other highlights for me were Hit & Miss and Positive Role Model. Neil and Chris were on fine form.

(Anyone have any theories why Thursday night goers were favored with one less morsel than all the other nights heard? I had gotten the impression Pet Shop Boys liked Thursdays. )
An incredible show last night, highlights hard to choose but Miserablism/King Of Rome/After The Event/The Way It Used To Be and of course Your Funny Uncle - Neil’s vocals throughout the show were superb.

I'll save you a job and send you my Excel file - where do you think I got this from?? Maybe you can do a better job on the pivot table.
It sounds as though the running time was about the same on Thursday as for the other nights. Maybe it was just that they played longer tracks? Requiem is nearly six minutes right there.

Absolutely this. There was some kind of corporate/VIP area upstairs to the left which had a bunch of folks who were chatting/laughing/shrieking away oblivious to the actual gig happening downstairs. Despite all kinds of shushing from the fans downstairs, they kept at it. They finally shut up for Your Funny Uncle, but it was a real annoyance.

I would happily purchase a 7” or whatever - just to have version with the crowd singing along. The joy of it Miserabilism finally getting it’s day in the sun.
