I have started a new feature on the White Lion Radio blog page, which is a complete chart archive running from January 1972, through to the end of December 1989.1972 was when I first started to have a keen interest in music, listening to it on the radio, listening to the weekly chart rundown on radio as a kid and buying records, by the end of 1989 I lost interest in the charts, so that explains why the archive is from 1972-1989.
I have already posted 87 weeks of the weekly UK top 20, 1972 in full and I am part way through 1973, it is something that will be updated on a regular basis when I can put together a month's worth of charts.
The main features, obviously it is just the top 20 UK singles that are listed, which also show the previous week's position on the chart and also features a synopsis of each weekly chart, what's number one, the biggest climbers and new entries etc and each week will have a classic 7 inch record sleeve featured too.
Some older members on here and some younger members too might find this interesting, so I thought I would post about it here and I will update this thread when further charts have been added, all the chart archive is in a dedicated section on the WLR blog page.
What I can guarantee is that it will bring back plenty of memories as the chart archive unfolds, it certainly has for me!
