Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have contributed to Bernard Sumner's charity fundraiser. How lovely of them.
They gave £2000, making their contribution among the highest. (Amount is hidden but you can figure it out)
I do feel for Bernard, losing his partner of 36 years. Especially now, with his bandmates essentially leaving New Order.
I can't speak much to loss and grieving, but this gesture does show Neil & Chris are on good terms with Barney.
Shows the kind of people they are. The donation is signed "Love Neil & Chris".

Well that's just sad. I remember meeting her in NYC as one of New Order's concerts.

Oh that is sad - and Bernard is so private that there's very little about them as a couple. I think a long time ago I saw a photo of them together somewhere online.
The NO camp seem to be having a crappy year all round.

Just asking: who was Sarah Sumner? I really don't know.

Answered myself: his wife, recently died.
So sorry for her, for him, for their family.
RIP
