Re: Forthcoming PSB TV and radio appearances...
There was an archive clip of Pet Shop Boys performing Se a Vida E on TFI Unplugged last Friday. I assume it's available on 4's streaming platform. I felt it was proof that by rejecting the late 90s Britpop zeitgeist, they were actually still quite relevant (picking up the Track by Track discussion from a few weeks ago)

Jarvis Cocker played Your Funny Uncle and read the accompanying extract about the song from Neil's book on his Someday Service 6Music show the Sunday after the Obscure gigs. You can listen back on BBC Sounds, it's in the last hour of the show that day. Good man Jarv!

What a patronising pointless horrible thing to say.
Thanks Nickname I’d never seen this before. Yeah should have posted elsewhere strictly speaking, but no one’s life has been damaged by your post or if it has then they need to take a long hard look at themselves.
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

Not quite PSB, not even half, but kind of: World Cup final, halftime show, Madonna starts, Stuart Price is on the turntables in the background.

Pet Shop Boys were the subject of the 'six of the best' feature on Lauren Laverne's BBC Radio 6 Music show this morning at 10.30am. As the name suggests, they chose six of their most popular songs and played them back to back. It also featured listeners' sentimental memories of the Boys but thankfully I didn't hear those. No surprises amongst the songs: West End Girls, Being Boring, Go West, What Have I Done to Deserve This? and It's a Sin. There was one other too but I didn't hear that as I was unloading at the council recycling centre! I doubt it was Cricket Wife.
