I have the New Order boxsets too. I know they haven’t been universally popular with the fanbase. Mixing formats as part of the set does feel slightly odd.

I think the thing with PSB is that they consider the Further Listening reissues as “definitive” - it’s (supposedly - we know there are gaps) everything “of master quality” from each era. So I can’t see them doing another scrape of each respective barrel. What I could see them doing is a vinyl release of each album complete with Further Listening discs and accompanying 12” booklet. Plus we know from Annually that Parlophone are working on a singles reissue campaign for streaming platforms, which Neil has said may well lead to a boxset.

I've always thought they'll leave the albums now, aside from the further listening;s which haven't been released yet (i.e. Electric onwards).

The only thing worth reissuing is the singles box sets - physically and digitally.

Hijacking this, because I'm collecting the NO boxsets and rerelease 12" singles too, but am perturbed we are still waiting for a Technique set still. I'd have hoped there'd be one by now.

I wasn't as avid a collector of NO back in the day, like I am/was with PSB so it scratches that completist itch.

Me too. I also liked that each NO 12" also got remastered/reissued as digital downloads and streams - great to get the original Saville artwork up there on Spotify etc. Unfortunately they've missed out 'State Of The Nation', 'Bizarre Love Triangle' and 'Touched By The Hand Of God', even though they re-released them on vinyl. Annoying there's a gap.

Anyway, back on topic. Hope we get the PSB digital single reissues soon.
