I have done a lot of research on release dates for singles dating all the way back to the early 60s, and while the exact date is sometimes lost in the mists of time, you can usually find the month of release. Not so with the limited Italian "Paninaro" release. No one appears to know, except that it was 1986. You'd think the information was available somewhere in the vaults of EMI Italia.daveid wrote: Thu 27 Aug 2026, 9:36 pmThe release date for Paninaro remains a mystery to this daytottenhammattspurs wrote: Thu 27 Aug 2026, 7:23 pmThat, I believe, was released AFTER Disco. "Unprofessional? Us? Sir. Might I with due respect remind you that Mister Vandemar and myself burned down the City of Troy? We brought the Black Plague to Flanders. We have assassinated a dozen kings, five popes, half a hundred heroes and two accredited gods. Our last commission before this was the torturing to death of an entire monastery in sixteenth century Tuscany. We are utterly professional." - Mr Croup

It was Autumn 1986 and that's the closest guess.Lush wrote: Fri 28 Aug 2026, 9:47 amI have done a lot of research on release dates for singles dating all the way back to the early 60s, and while the exact date is sometimes lost in the mists of time, you can usually find the month of release.
