Well then it was labeled as a remix album but in what sense is this a "mislabeling".
In The Night and Paninaro are basically new songs.
Half of Suburbia, The Full Horror stuff, is new.
I'd also say that half of West End girls is new, the extra verse and the long outro "no one knows your name".

This is bizarre. Are you suggesting that none of the three extended remixes of West End Girls (10", 12", Shep mix) from 1985 and early 1986 are actually remixes because they contain a verse that was cut from the album version? What are they, then?
I also don't really understand what you mean by "basically new songs" - both of those examples had been previously released in 7" versions, and Paninaro had also been released in its 12" mix. But in any case, there's nothing about the words "remix album" that implies all the material must have been previously released, although that essentially is the case here. What do you think a remix album is if not a collection of remixes? You might as well argue that Alternative isn't a B-sides album.
