:wall: I still can't get back into the site - this lock-out lasts for ages, it seems.

Or for free after this morning’s fiasco.

Very disappointed at this latest ticketing horrorshow. I got in at bang on 10.00 and there was no sign of any tickets being available, becoming available, or having been available - not even a "low availability" message, just immediately "there aren't enough tickets to complete your request". How can anything sell out completely in literally no time at all?

My experience was the same as everyone else’s and I ultimately didn’t get tickets. However at around 10:15 I managed to get two tickets in my basket and got all the way through the checkout. But when it got to the stage where it was processing my payment it was taking an inordinate amount of time, so I made the mistake of pressing the back button and lost them. I was hoping a confirmation email would have sneaked through but that’s not the case.
Woof.

Well... my first thought was it was too expensive... but selling that quickly the tickets were probably too cheap.

Imagine how fast a run of Obscure shows up here would sell out...!

joncool5 wrote: Mon 07 Sep 2026, 10:36 am Same here, was on it straight away and then booted off for suspicious activity, it's so frustrating! Having worked previously in a museum in Manchester I suspect half the tickets will be freebies to staff working across the various Imperial War Museum sites and other prominent museums within the city.
That's a good point. The BFI cinema in London holds some screening events tied in to new blu ray or box set releases (and of course did the 'It Couldn't Happen Here + Potemkin' screening with a live Q&A with Neil, last September) and many of these sell out on Members' pre-sale early access day. But - for example with releases of BBC product - a lot of the seats are reserved as comps tickets for BBC Studios staff. Near the event day, if you keep checking back, a handful of them get re-released for sale as, I guess, BBC comp ticket holders cancel or decline them (or maybe don't confirm wanting them by a certain cut-off, dunno),

IF Ticketmaster keep the event page up, it might pay to check in every so often and try your luck, just in case.

I don't imagine anyone can say for certain, but I'm asking anyway. Does the official site's BluRay come with a slipcase or not? Images on the site show the slipcase, and the packaging view shows both the slipcase and without slipcase (which implies a slipcase). Meanwhile the email they sent does not show the slipcase, and SDE says the slipcase is exclusive.

I'll likely just cancel the official site order and get it from SDE because I quite like the slipcase for this.

It doesn't say on the official site, but according to SDE the official Pet Shop Boys store has the slipcase.

I suspect the official store one has a slipcase but the SDE version will have a slightly different slipcase for us completists.

They're the same.

"SDE & D2C exclusive slipcase".
I didn't realise the Blu-ray was sold elsewhere, but it is.
Also I notice the Blu-ray includes a 24 page booklet.

I had a similar experience despite logging on at 8.30am. Kept trying but was locked out (all day) after about an hour, on two browers and mobile app.
But... I've been very lucky before so I would never begrudge anyone who was successful. You win some, you lose some.

Re the BFI/members presale, members can see the remaining seat plan once the presale is complete. Something I am going to had less than 100 general sale seats left after presale.
