A completely forgotten track, to be honest. I’ve just listened to the Alcazar version and it’s quite good!

The verse melody isn't bad, though it gives me the impression that the tempo is too fast; I think it would work better at 5 RPM slower. The chorus melody is quite weak.

Track 170 : Flamboyant ( original demo) Further Listening Release CD2 :10
Flamboyant ( 7" mix) Further Listening Release CD2 :12
What a great track! One of their best singles, just like "Miracles." I always thought "Miracles" should have been on *Art" and *Flamboyant* on "Pop". Great music video and great extended mix. A return to form after *Release*.

A great, pop moment. Both singles from PopArt were their best singles in a while and this one was particularly good. What a catchy melody. I love how they rhyme tacky with Issey Miyake every time, it's genius. The video was a nice companion and I liked the promo cover better than the single release.

I love Flamboyant (but who doesn't?). In my opinion, the version on PopArt is the best, but maybe that's just because I'm most familiar with it. Awesome song!

Flamboyant is a good song but I always think that it should have been more “epic-sounding”. Maybe using hardest sounds. Anyway, a good single and in my opinion it should have been the first one from PopArt instead of Miracles.

Greetings,
I love Flamboyant... this along with Miracles were the sure signs we needed that the boys were back!

I understand what you mean, but then you wouls lose the "hidden game".davidctecno wrote: Sat 12 Sep 2026, 7:58 am I always thought "Miracles" should have been on *Art" and *Flamboyant* on "Pop".
Does anybody else see a hidden game?

one of my favourite singles of theirs of the 00s along with Minimal. Its a great track, nice video and image at the time as well
I do like the demo version a lot as well - again really sticky, harsh electro. I probably prefer the single mix overall but its nice to have the demo included as well

Like others, I love Flamboyant - it's fantastic. The Boys are back on track!

I think it's a shame the album version wasn't included on Fundy FL as it's the best IMO

Yes, Flamboyant, Miracles and Minimal are all top-tier PSB singles. Minimal was on a 6 Music PSB playlist the other day and it reminded me how good (and cool) it is.rathound wrote: Sat 12 Sep 2026, 5:59 pm one of my favourite singles of theirs of the 00s along with Minimal. I wish they'd only released tracks like this and not the likes of Ab Fab, Somewhere and New York city boy, but I suppose that cheesy stuff has always been in their arsenal too.
