The Hidden Cameras have their own version of The dark end of the street. Might be where PSB first heard it.

I have a pair of 2024 mixes to ride the elliptical to. This remix is on one of them and sounds so great. I just love how smooth and warm it is and how it ticks along.

Coincidentally enough, "The dark end of the street" follows on the mix. Didn't know until reading this thread this morning that The Hidden Cameras have their own cover of that.

(The other PSB tracks across the two workout sets are "New London boy" (Boy Harsher mix), "Why am I dancing?" (Demo version), "Everybody will dance" (Superchumbo remix), "It's not a crime", and "Adrenaline".)

Well thank you...As I am in love with their Kids remix, I nose-dived into this but... I do not know what I was expecting but was not expecting this LOL It's good but it does not excite me as much as Kids...maybe it is a grower. It sounds a good choice for a cold room experience in a SPA after a steam session

Definitely a different, lower energy from the MGMT work, but I find the Cameras remix steady and hypnotic, leading me along as I pedal the machine at the gym.

It's an Instrumental version of the remix that was released today. Length is 2:45 so it is abridged. The single package has the instrumental remix then the regular PSB remix which was properly released in 2024, put on Soundcloud in 2011.
