When I got married , we had a tiny cute party - about 20 people , only the closest relatives and friends . It was absolutely perfect .
I think huge weddings are a huge waste of money . A friend of mine got married about 4 years ago , and she and her husband had hundreds of guests ! Most of the people who came to the party were total strangers , and , after I've seen all this , I thought : "damn , if I'll get married one day , this is a perfect example to how my wedding SHOULDN'T look like !" Spending dozens of thousands of dollars to feed and entertain hundreds of strangers ? Thanks , but no thanks

This isnt something ive ever really put a ton of thought into- probably something small since i think the big thing is a waste of money as well and the wedding industry makes enough money as it is. The older you get i thik the smaller they become really. Girl at work got married at 22 about 2 weeks ago and the total cost was about $20,000 which was retarded. What makes it even MORE retarded is that she was confusing "a wedding" with "being married"- she never once said anything about plans for the future AFTER the wedding. ALways thought she was an idiot- well see how long this lasts. Actually the trend in America now is that people are getting divorced and still paying off their wedding debt.
