Problem is David, when you upset somebody, they tend to stick to you forever. Whatever you post, even if they agree, they will disagree. You decided to make a stand against umpteen threads about the non inclusion of Seriously on PopArt, now you have a nemesis.

I've had it before with a few members,including bogboy on Aimoo. I decided to make a joke when he and Zeus were at each others throats and he decided to attack every post i submitted until i told him i was joking. He then picked his toys up

You are one of the few that dares to posts strong opinons, the only problem is on this forum, a handful of people will dislike you for it and never let you forget it.

The real characters of this board are gone or are going. It will be left in the hand of the people that live on fantasies. Unless some strong administration is applied, this forum will dissapear. I'm not talking about banning people, i just want to read through a thread without having to skip a shit load of crap.

Yeah but a bit of smutty banter is one thing, for it to be constant and in EVERY damn thread is over the top. Ive abided by StevePSBs request to remove my swear words from my signature, and am trying to keep this post clean at the moment, but if I can play by the forum rules then perhaps some other people could do it as well! Im not some sort of prude where im offended by the banter, but CMON people, what are you lot 16 yr old boys in the locker room? It gets old, it gets boring, and it really shows just how little of a life and education the ones who engage in it constantly have. And Dave is right, its hard to avoid it because its in EVERY post. How many times lately have I thought "hey this looks interesting" and started to read a thread only to lose interest and be irritated becauase all of a sudden I run into a lot of "smutty banter" that ruins the thread? And i know im not the only one. You lot keep this up and when there actually IS stuff to talk about with the Boys then no one is going to be around to 1) care or 2) discuss it because frankly its driving everyone decent away!

I had trouble sleeping last night, so I turned on the computer, got onto the message board, read this thread chock full of personal attacks and grandstanding, got to about page 7, and woke up this morning still at the computer, but having the best sleep I've had in years.


Thank you so much for beating this dead horse so far into the ground and contributing to the most boring thread any PSB board has ever seen.

A bit easy, Dave. We've had our heavy discussions too, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to disagree with you on every issue from now on. I could actually refer to a couple of threads where I partly or fully agreed with your opinion. Oh and for the sake of it: there weren't umpteen threads devoted to Seriously, nor were they dominated by me. I posted the occasional message in several threads, but I'm convinced that most of my messages contained *new* stuff all the time. This is a discussion forum, you see. You get to hear other people's arguments and respond to them. It's pretty normal discussion behaviour. I can't see what's so offensive about it, certainly not when the topic is fully about PSB.

This is not about agreeing or disagreeing: it's about hypocrisy. David is constantly criticising the moderators. He feels he has the right to post his opinion (in fact he does, I fully agree with that!), but a moderator isn't allowed to post a request. The moderator should deal with it in private, David claims. If so, why doesn't he file his complaints against StevePSB in a private message? I'm still waiting for an answer to that question. Same thing with my Seriously-posts on the old forum. If it was such a problem for him, he could have sent me a PM. If David openly criticizes StevePSB it's OK, but if I criticize him for that, I have no right to speak?

As for the final two sentences of your message, Dave, I can only answer: I know. Been there, done that. I posted some controversial views and some people simply wouldn't let go and would continue to confront me with it. But to be honest: I don't care at all. My opinion is my opinion. Sometimes the majority agrees with it, sometimes the majority doesn't. I think Screaming is a fantastic song. Should I continue? no...

As for the moderation of this place, David: *I* am not the one who's constantly making remarks about the moderation: *you* are. You seem to have some strong ideas about how to moderate a place like this. And we already concluded that a moderator doesn't necessarily have to contribute to the forum. So I'm really dead serious when I ask you again: why don't you pick up the job? I have nothing against it, so don't worry about that.

The thing is, it does look like you have it in for Madhatter. Everytime he posts something, you seem to have a pop at him. Obviously it's fine if you disagree with him but your disagreements border on an attack, i know the signs because i've been guilty of it myself

I certainly don't like this idea of 'lets sort it out in a PM' Steve posted an announcement which appeared to be directed at everybody when it wasnt everybody that was making this forum into a joke, it certainly wasn't David, nor was it you.

It's strange that the mods seem to have dissapeared, this board is turning chaotic !
