God, that really takes me back to the sixth-form and going clubbing for the first time. Nightcrawlers, Alex Party, N-Trance and Bucketheads were played to death, and I think Strike's U Sure Do - another ubiquitous dancefloor hit - was released around this time as well.

On the downside, that chart also contains possibly the worst song ever released in Janet Jackson's Whoops Now.
