I love the song. Chris hates it. He tried everything to spoil it.

My favourite track on Very has changed constantly - when it first came out, 'Go West' was my fave (hey - I was 12!). Then I got into 'Yesterday, when I was mad', 'I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing', and the higher energy tracks. Then I was really into 'The Theatre', particularly because of the line "...from the Patron of the Arts, or at least the Phantom of the Opera...", which always cracked me up. But now I think my fave has got to be 'Young Offender'. There is something about this song that I really like - something timeless about it, and I never get sick of hearing it. It's got lots of blips and bleeps, but the underlying melody I find quite captivating. I was ecstatic when they played it live during the 'Nightlife' tour.

I would have to say that 'Very' is my absolute favourite PSB album. Might be because that's when I first got into them, but every song on it was well-crafted, and I felt that I had really gotten my money's worth. The only track I never got into at all was 'One and One Make Five', but even that one isn't that bad a song. 'Very' is a classic dance album, and although it's now more than a decade old, its high energy melodies and clever lyrics still stand up to today. IMO, it will never tarnish.

Very will never be my favourite album (it is far too cheesy in places for me).

But A Different Point of View is always included on any PSB CD I make either for myself or anyone else. I think it has to be one of their most underrated tracks.

Very is without a doubt my fave. I love the positive energetic vibes the songs give off, "I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing", "go west", "young offender"...it's definitely their best album to date, along with Behaviour of course...which raises the question: out of "Behaviour" and "Very", which one do you like the best? They're both very strong albums, but for very different reasons. "Behaviour" is deep, intelligent, and in parts, dark and depressing. So of course it was a hit! As for "Very", it's overall positivity and dance-friendly tracks make it a memorable album and a favourite among fans. What do you guys think? Your reasons for liking "Very" and "Behaviour", and what album you prefer out of the two?

different point of view...beautiful song...would have preferred it as a single instead of liberation! ahem.

my favourite part has always been when neil sings "please"! damn now i have to listen to it!

Its an amazing track, even my 'I hate psb' ex, loved ADPOV *oh the irony !*
Even now, when I hear Very through headphones, I like squinch slightly, waiting for the intro to jolt me out..

but Can you forgive her? is one of PSB's BEST ever..What a fantastic song ! completely clever..

The genius of the two albums is that they followed the definitive downer album with a masterclass in kaleidoscopic pop. Behaviour is my favourite album ever *period* but Very Relentless is pretty perfect too. In an ideal world I would take the box set of all their stuff to my desert island along with the Bible, Shakespeare and some well-thumbed jazz mags.
