It comes offf as immense bragging to me: "Nyah nyah, I've heard it, you haven't, now i'm going to lord it over you, peasants."
Sounds presumptuous- it's just bragging, and i really don't care what (you) the OP thinks one bit. 67 posts, but who are you to review the new PSB CD for us? Rather, who do you think you are?
I think your motive is just pure one-upmanship. Since you're the only one to hear it, who can debate you? Lucky you, but you're pushing it.
I'll wait with the rest of the proles til the CD comes out. Just braggy of you. Ugh.

It didn't come across that way at ALL to me.
Now, if he'd have come on saying "Hey, guess what! I've heard Fundamental and it's fantastic but I'm not going to tell you anything about it!" I could understand your comment about "one-upmanship". But he didn't!
Thanks Neutron69 for the review and for giving us a bit more information about the album that we didn't know already - i.e the track times.
I don't know about anyone else, but I think it's great that a handful of people on here have heard Fundamental. There's at least 2 or 3 reliable sources on here who I think are trustworthy when it comes to the correctness of the information (Nightlife in particular! - Dunno why, just got a hunch..
) so thanks to them for sharing bit of info with us. It makes the wait more exciting
Think about it, if we didn't have the internet we wouldn't know ANYTHING much about the songs would we?! So at least we know a little bit!
Not long to go now though till we've all heard it! Woo, and indeed, hoo!

well dont forget neutron said he "decided" to listen to it in the new order. that implies he had it in the old version but just decided to listen to it in the new track order and when you do that, ie jumping around obviously they wont fade into one another.nickname wrote:Something has changed from the original cd. According to Ting Tong "No gap between tracks, the notes of the last one bleed into the next" (talking about Minimal and The Sodom And Gomorrah Show). With the new order, it doesn't happen.Flaffer wrote:back to the studio boys
anotherwords, maybe the PSB re editied the new track listing to fade into each other, its just that the promo that seems to be making the rounds(most likely what the few that have heard it have) is the first cut of the CD.

Perhaps (and it's just an speculation) psb could include some little changes in any of the songs of "Fundamental". Well, they are in the studio with the b-sides and now they have to change the order of the tracks of Fundamental, so they can use this time for that.I'm talking about little changes.glennjridge wrote:well dont forget neutron said he "decided" to listen to it in the new order. that implies he had it in the old version but just decided to listen to it in the new track order and when you do that, ie jumping around obviously they wont fade into one another.nickname wrote:Something has changed from the original cd. The reason why I think they could do that is simple:
For example:
Don't you think "Schycological" is a little poor intro for the promised epic album "Fundamental"?. The thing is it wasn't going to be the intro of "Fundamental", in a first time. But now it is, so maybe they could try to make some changes on this song to create a little bigger effect from the beginning of the album.
I know some people don't understand that but.... who cares?

Thanks for the positive comments.
That's completely right - the tracks run together in the orginal cd (but not in the mixed way of Madonna's album) The re-programmed version I listened to was not the final version but a guess (now confirmed) of the final order. It means further mixing will be needed so that the final cd order runs together again.
