One of the worst faults of Numb on the album is Neil singing both "I dont wanna hurt no more" and "wanna be numb". It sounds too conflicting and works much better as done live with backing singers taking the "wanna be numb" line.

No The BBC site says that this was recorded before. also seems they are doing interview first and then the concert.
