the shoes were thrown on the stage by people in the audience in a previous moment related to world cup 2006 and football stickers....

It's really just the first line that sounds bad. And the half playback is terribly obvious while he sings "I have to ask myself like any lover might" because it's out of sync.

Not sure I'd want to sit next to Chris on the tube. Talk about sitting with your legs apart! He'd take up 2 seats like that!
