Posted today on the official Little Britain site:

Matt and David are currently in the studio with the Pet Shop Boys working on their first album together. The boys, who worked with Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe on the 'I'm gay' track and also appeared in their video for 'I'm with Stupid', are planning to release a single later this year. Matt told us: "We get on so well with Neil and Chris that one day we suggested making an album together. We're working on a concept that features some of the characters from Little Britain but also a few new ones too. I really can't say any more at the moment but we are looking to develop a show around the album." The Pet Shop Boys wrote a musical, Closer to Heaven, with Gimme Gimme Gimme writer Jonathan Harvey in 1999.

Nah, not such a collaboration pleeeeeaaaaze! :(

I watched a Little Britain episode on Swedish tv last week, and I can't say I was too impressed by it. Not my kind of humour, just the "gay thing" over and over... plus urine and vomiting of course. Disgusting. :boo:

i think a Little Britain album would be cool

just as long as its not promoted heavily as a PSB, maybe just credited as producers or something

"I'm Gay" is by far the worst thing PSB ever touched. I played it once and I feel absolutely no urge to hear again, ever. The mutilated single version of Numb (which I also stopped playing) is pure bliss in comparison.

I'm glad about PSB writing new songs, but I would rather see a normal album than yet another side project. Not because I don't want them to do side projects, but because those projects are rarely commercially successful. And even that is not a problem, but I think PSB should be in the spotlight.

That was my initial thought too, actually... - Although there should still be some songs left from the Fundamental sessions.

I'm very surprised with the fact that a 4th single from Fundamental still isn't out of the question, almost 9 months after the album release. Release only had 2 singles and the 3rd Fundamental single was the biggest PSB flop ever.

That said, I do think Fundamental has the potential. I can see why they want to give it one more try. If they release Intregral, it has to be an interesting package with some great remixes and new bonus tracks to please the fans.

Yep, if they are working on b-sides I hope they're finshing/re-working those songs. I'd rather have those released than totally brand new songs because I hate the idea of them just sitting there.

Because it's been confirmed twice now that if a 4th single is going to be released it will be Integral :) Also, he hates Integral that's why I replied with that
