What a scary thought. Even I'm freaked out and offended by some of the things said over there.TheGardner wrote:No, they don't. When Neil is watching PSB places, he only do it in Lydias forum!
Are Neil or Chris visiting this forum?

Neil: "Hey Chris, our fans think we will release Disco 4 soon."
Chris: "Oops, we might better get into the studio immediately then."
Neil: "But it's my birthday today..."
Chris: "Not important now, we HAVE to please our fans."

I hope it never happens. On some forums where the artist posts you get flamed for posting even smallest criticism, because fans think that if they flame critics, the artist will like them better. *rolls eyes*

It will never happen. Some of the artists will visit their forums once in a while. But never really.
This message from Lydia: of course neil, chris and their friends visit my forum and they dont feel shame like they will do reading the insults you spend about others artist what they respect. And they know perfectly tennant-lowe.com respect.

hmm yes - thats a point I think, Neil couldn't handle with! He always would be offended by some rude critics, which you always will have in forums!Ray wrote:I hope it never happens. The thing is: if you see all the criticism you have to deal with the objective ones and drop idiot posts... But thats a lesson you only learn by visiting forums more often.
Already thought of a special forum with some of the best known, long time & objective thinking PSB people (who can explain their thoughts and critics without being rude or can give solutions or comments to PSB questions and will get back answers of questions from PSB) + Neil and Chris. A small silent working community with contacts to both and where rumours and gossip could be shared more easy.
But at the end - this thought is pure blasphemy against all other petheads! It can't be realized.

If I were an artist, I would probably check out my fan forum too. But I guess such visits are pretty frustratiing, since you can never do it right. Out of the 38 PSB singles, I don't think there are many singles that ALL fans agree with as good choices. One person dislikes Before, the other dislikes I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more, another dislikes So Hard... - basically, you can never do it right. Same goes with album tracklistings, sleeve design, basically everything fans have an opinion about.

if you are an artist - you have to handle with all this! If you an objective thinking person, you can winnow all from something! AND you can concentrate your doing on one thing --> giving answers to rumours or stuff, which should be clarified! You don't need to start discussing in some flame topics, because you're offended or disappointed!
You don't need to post in your fanforum every day - you only should show, that you're present and here, if someone have a question or a rumor which should be clarified!
in the end - a behaviour, Redman used when he was posting here from time to time!

You can't please all the people all the time...but you've never had it so good.dVTB wrote:If I were an artist, I would probably check out my fan forum too.
