all this is just getting out of hand. It's not SUPPOSED to be a proper album. If everyone hadn't made their own hopeful tracklist in their head they woudln't be disappointed. I must admit it feels a little bit like flogging a dead horse, but on the other hand...also this crying for Integral as single reminds me New order fans crying out for Turn as a single. Which admittedly, it should have been!

Terrible news, also it's weird that they are spending money on making a video and its not being released as a single??

What a let down!.. :(

Imho there are several things could save Disco 4.
1) Additional bonus disc with numbers of b-sides and new mixes.(maybe some good sound demos.)
2) Nice artwork with an interviews with artists whom Pet Shop Boys "mixed" and selected for "Disco 4" compilation.
(Such: Quick introduction+description of the creative process+description of the influences which made the mix sounds particularly like we (fans) hear it sounds.
this is all for now.

Nothing can save it, EMI won't go back and change it all of a sudden just for us?! Or would they?

Who Knows Pet Shop Girl. EMI might get interest at least in the public reaction at least in reaction of forums and music stores if they would know that "Disco 4" has such reaction maybe they will add at least 2 b-side's (unreleased). :) or create a good bonus disc. Of course you are absolutelly right the original tracklist is impossible to changed so far, (at least due to respect to all the remixed bands, artists etc.) but they still can add some tracks.

Every disco has been different, so I think the boys were going to do something different anyway. Its more of a "we remix stuff" album. Many other artists that remix stuff often come out with an album like this.
Latest Remix: Domino Dancing ^^

The right name could be Remixogragphy, they have changed name to Concrete so they could make it again with Disco 4...

maybe if the integral video were included on the disc. and yes, if just two more unreleased tracks were on it i'd buy it for sure. but to me, the current tracklisting makes this release a rather pointless, redundant album. i've already bought the singles containing the PSB remixes i want. so i figure i've already paid for the album. i wouldn't feel bad at all if i were to just download the integral remix now. i'd even pay for that track if it were an unrestricted high quality mp3 (preferably available directly from PSB). and as for the killers and yoko ono tracks...well, i could just as well do without them for the rest of life.

Well changing it completely won't do any good to the real thing, it would not be this "Disco 4" and whatever interventions we do then that product wouldn't have to be saved at all. What can keep this release as it is from dissaster???????? Maybe the biggest promotion campaign ever, similar to those to become President of the United States, the boys going around the world in record time to sign copies of it and meet and greet reunions where the passage would be to own a copy of Disco 4.

Ohhhh and the video in the television, even if here in Chile with the greatest promotion of all time I won't see it, that's where I live jajajaja, you'll get to see it in a better quality than Youtube.com

PSB are working with Kylie on a track for her new album? Maybe an extended mix of that track might just get this into the top10? Preferably, I'd like it if the mix didn't involve Kylie's vocals.

Disco 4 is a fraud!
We're concerned, you're a threat. You are NOT INTEGRAL to the project...
