Tony Wilson deserved so much more than a mundane identikit thread title into which no effort was put whatsoever.
It comes as no surprise at all that "RIP Yada Yada" is what you personally prefer, since you're about as interesting as scabies.
Tony was such a big part of North West England, it won't be the same without him.

In case you hadn't noticed it's a thread on a forum, we're not his family or writing an obituary for the funeral - RIP is perfectly appropriate in these circumstances.
You can "try" to be too clever you know - and it gets pretty boring.
Tony Wilson - RIP. Hugely influential and will be sadly missed.
I watched the 24 hour people film for the first time only a couple of weeks ago and it he seemed a very interesting character. Certainly deserves a lot of credit for what he did in the music scene.
