Unwritten rule. You're not allowed to comment on the Erasure thread cos you've had plenty to say in it!
I admit I had a bit of good natured fun at Erasure earlier in that thread. Hopefully! Not too serious at any rate.
Nevertheless, it's now become a childish squabble that's no longer about Erasure, but between yourself and another member. I'm pleased that one of the moderators has already said as much. It's clear to me that you enjoy it. It's less enjoyable to read, however and often an embarrassment.
As for not being 'allowed' to comment... well, I don't think you're really in a position of authority to say - but don't let that small detail stop you.
It's meant to be honest. I'm sorry if it came over as overly stern. I'm a bit preoccupied with Real Life Matters today and perhaps I wasn't paying enough attention. Sometimes it's better to explain yourself fully rather than let a smiley say it for you. *insert shaking hands smiley*

Actually, I was completely against even having an off-topic forum about a decade ago when it was brought in here. I thought things worked perfectly well at Dotmusic and Hostboard when people posted "OT" before their off-topic thread titles in the one forum.
