Talking of cars…

According to a recent podcast, Neil’s still got his Land Rover Discovery 4 (think the one seen in the Release tour book), and Chris has still got his Jeep Wrangler c/w tape deck PLUS his 80’s Porsche 911 (think Turbo version).

Apparently he and Vicki test drove an Audi E-Tron GT for 2 weeks, taking it up to Blackpool and back recently.

The Audi featured in a video posted on social media by Chris, who was looking very happy 👍🏻
Chris: "I don't really like MP3's. It's like having a 1 megapixel digital camera."

I always thought that Chris would have made an unexpected and fun guest on the old Top Gear “Star in a reasonably priced car” feature, but he’d have never drawn attention to himself like that.

Ironically, the Stig was based on Chris hence why his face was covered (i.e. dark visor on helmet) and he didn’t speak or hardly moved.

Have they stated that, or is it your interpretation?

Good question. Have heard it on couple of occasions but also mentioned briefly here;
“Though he was an inspiration for the robotic Stig in Top Gear, Lowe has a raver’s easy energy”

Chris has a new motor then, an electric John Cooper Works Mini. Very nice too.

I don’t think the Mini is Chris’s actual new car, he seems to get loaned cars arranged by Jason Barlow, the editor-at-large of Top Gear Magazine when he goes to Blackpool - the deal appears to be that he does a social media post. He’s done it before with a Jaguar F-Type and an electric Audi.

Ugh - why?! Chris you disappoint me - the "new" Mini's are an abomination.
