2. Glad all over
3. I cried for us
4. A certain “Je ne sais quoi”
5. The way through the woods (long version)
6. I started a joke
7. Hell
8. In his imagination
9. Baby (demo)
10. Listening
11. One night
12. Inside

14. Get it online
15. No more ballads

It's weird, when I listen to these when they released as single B-sides, I don't give them enough credit I think. When you collect them this way, you realise what an incredibly strong set of songs these are.

Still think we’ll see a compilation that brings both alternative AND format together to bring it all up to date as one big b-side collection.

Six cds. 10 lp. Box set. Called something like “additional”.
This way you have Smash with all the a sides and “Additional” with all the b-sides and bonus tracks.
is is and isnt isnt

Agreed, in a list they seem to have more gravitas!

Assuming they omit the various tracks that are dubious b-sides eg My girl, West End girls (lockdown version), Left to my own devices (Super version), etc. then they have just the right number for two 74 minute sides. Fugitive is also a dubious one but we include this as Neil himself did when discussing a prospective third volume.

Perhaps the non-extended mix of Through You will be included on the next b-sides comp, if only for space reasons (and I guess to at least include *something* exclusive.)

This is a good idea. Ditto with The Way Through The Woods.

Retro. :)

They should licence the track "Pet Shop Boys" from Bobby O so the box set can cover 1984 to 2024 and fit the "Since 1984" brand.

Additional Pet Shop Boys: 1984-2024
40 years of b-sides and bonus tracks

Perfect - that makes a 7CD box set 😁
The 30 min version of PSB on CD1, Alternative CD2/CD3, Format CD4/CD5, and the latter material CD6/CD7

Additional Pet Shop Boys: 1984-2024

And so the box could start with a track titled with the band name!
