Last night Robbie was in a Spanish TV programme called "Buenafuente". It was a funny interview, and Robbie´s English accent is SO clear!!!
He was fun, also when he said the TV presenter was like the Spanish George Michael

"It´s fundamental that we do only exist in our own universe. When you like Pet Shop Boys, you are in our world. This is absolutely crucial to our entire outlook...what we do has an incredibly strong identity and applies only to us. It´s a case of not recognising the existence of anybody else!". Neil Tennant.

I'm not a Robbie fan but I have been singing it all afternoon. It's very wistful.

Interesting choice of lyrics to bring the song to an abrupt halt. How about this take on it?

"I've seen your daughter
Man she's cute
I was scared but I wanted to
Boy she looks a lot like you"

He seems to be saying that he fancied the hell out of Elvis' daughter and then suddenly realises it's because he actually fancied Elvis (I'm guessing a young version) and the shock of the realisation of his homosexuality stuns him into silence as the chord slowly fades away......
