I just rechecked mine & it's only got the 9 tracks. I got mine from the OS.

Yeah. Perfect. I managed to peel off the barcode sticker from the box without leaving any marks. I bought a new battery, and while it’s not super easy to replace since it’s soldered in, with a bit of skill and a soldering iron, you can swap it out in just a few minutes.

Plugged mine into my laptop last night. It wakes up but doesn't charge :roll:

Made it work!!!!
I had to replace the battery, which was pretty easy to find.
The tricky part is not the welding, which is also pretty simple, but removing the old battery that is super glued to the circuit! Once you've got that done, with minimal welding skills you got it.
I mean, overall it's kind of nerve-racking since you're thinking you might break it all the time. But once it's done, the joy is priceless. So here it is!
