Why was John Lennon's solo career such a flop?
Did Yoko Ono have anything to do with it?
Do I win £5?
No thats a myth and John had a couple of number 1's before he was shot dead and quite a few after thats not bad for a solo career more than lame duck Gary Barlow...where is he working is it Big Mac.
Considering he was worth 10 million quid when Take That split and he's still a rather successful pop writer e.g he wrote Blue's Guilty which got to #4 in the UK, I think it'll be a while till he applies for your job.
By the way, the last 5 Lennon singles before he was shot had all missed the UK Top-20 with the exception of Imagine which originally got to #6.

Yes, but PSB suffer by comparison because Neil has never managed to write a song about a famous artist despite all the time he's spent hanging around the White Cube.
Pah, Neil, Neil, Neil...everything's always been his fault.
Who the hell are Blue??
Oh and about the Job I dont have to work..
And as I said Gary Barlow is not in the same league as John Lennon so don't try and move away from that fact and John has had more Number 1's than bloody Gary any way..
They make a little go along way.. very Minimal but Fundamental.
Well look who is side stepping again as alway this was not about Robbie you sad person..
Err,John had a number 1 before his death and his career was not a flop unlike Gary's..
John Lennon has still had more hits which is what I said in the First place.
They make a little go along way.. very Minimal but Fundamental.

Annie has some good songs but speaking as a red blooded male, sexy she ain't.

Err, no...you started by calling me a 'sad person' and there's precisely no arguement. John Lennon never had a #1 single before he died and since we're comparing Beatles/Take That, Robbie's had more than him.

a) Turbs, usually have long hair wrapped inside a Turban
b) Someone posted about Englebert being Indian with someone replying to that post about being a Turbanator (someone who wears a turban and usually has a long beard with nits in it)
c) 'Goodness Gracious Me' is a comedy sketch show in the UK and in one of them, one of the characters keeps commenting on everyone living being an Indian
For your information, Englebert isn't Indian and neither am I. Sorry to dissappoint you guys

I think I'm even more confused than I was at the start...
What proportion of males in the world with long hair wear a Turban? Not
Many
What proportion of men in India wear a Turban? Not many... if they were born in Madras then they are probably Tamils, making it even more unlikely

Now, have a cup of milk and go to bed.
Oh dear Zeus is wrong again ..
John Lennon celebrated his first solo US no. 1 hit with backing vocal by Elton John by appearing at Madison Square Garden with John Nov. '74: he sang the hit, 'Whatever Gets You Through The Night',
This was about John Lennon and Gary nothing else you are as you said:
This was always about some Zeus talking irrelevant bollocks I think this is more you..
You lost it pages ago but as always you cant be seen to be wrong so yes you are Sad..
Go drink you'r Milk you need it more than me..

Wasn't Zeus talking about the UK chart?
No this was about number 1's in the US/Uk does not matter as I said John has had more than Gary ..
End of.........................................[/quote]
Looking back at the thread, I really think that Zeus was only refering to the UK chart......
