Re: The fifth single
Anyone in the UK had their shipping notification from the official store yet for the new CD singles? I normally order from Amazon, but their shipping for 'Feel' was delayed, so I'm trying out the official store again.
Mine hasn't shipped yet, so it's looking unlikely I'll get it on release day, annoyingly.

Yes, got the shipping notification on Thursday, hoping it will be today but they usually are delivered on the Saturday.TwizzleUK wrote: Thu 14 Nov 2024, 12:31 pm Anyone in the UK had their shipping notification from the official store yet for the new CD singles? Re: The fifth single
I got my email saying the CD's had shipped a few days ago too. Normally that would be cause for celebration, but today Canada Post went on strike, so lord only knows when I'll get them now.

Re: The fifth single
Anyone who has the CD singles have the production credits as they haven’t been posted to Discogs yet? I suspect the “Delinquent version” simply says “Produced by PSB and mixed by Pete Gleadall” which would imply it’s PSB’s original demo for the track before Anne Dudley then James Ford got involved.

It says 'Performed and produced by Pet Shop Boys'. Mix and additional engineering: Pete Gleadall'Danimal wrote: Fri 15 Nov 2024, 6:19 pm Anyone who has the CD singles have the production credits as they haven’t been posted to Discogs yet? Could be, but sounds too good for a demo. Though interesting it says 'mix by' Gleadall. Perhaps it was developed from the original demo version that existed before James Ford got involved.
Also it doesn't say 'demo', and usually they call that out.

In with a bullet at 41 in the Sales chart.
Feel hits a new peak of 8 in the Physicals. A new bohemia - a former number 1 - rises to 17, and fellow former number 1 Dancing star is back up to 41.

The MTV performance and BBC 6 have done it. Nothing special but anyway a good thing.Drico One wrote: Fri 15 Nov 2024, 8:18 pm In with a bullet at 41 in the Sales chart.

Re: The fifth single
That’s a result of guesswork, I’d suggest. Doesn’t sound like them. The “delinquent” reference comes from the song. Production/mix sounds like it could be on the Lost EP, suggesting no outsider input.

Re: The fifth single
All of their modern-day demos have the identical credits as above. They’re probably not calling it a “demo” because they didn’t write the song themselves, but rather this is their first working version of the track before others were involved in the recording process.moxlox wrote: Fri 15 Nov 2024, 7:09 pm It says 'Performed and produced by Pet Shop Boys'.
