I hope you understand, I try to be fair. I read your links. I sat at the computer for a :?
hour or more to watch your doco.

The report on the Prius, like some others, is feasible. But i cannot comment as I am no expert.
So I just want you to know : That 'no reply' does not mean disbelief. :)

However, civilised "men of letters" must be open minded on both sides.
Otherwise converstation just breaks down. :|

Just to explain why I am the way I am.

I am trained in problem solving, like the air crash investigators. Ignore emotion and salesmen,
examine data, distrust assumptions, propose theory, ignore emotion, retest theory until
all evidence is explained. Provide solution regardless of politics.
It's a nice clear way to be. :D
Fair enough and thanks for persevering.
Sure, the Prius report could be wrong but I do believe that plumbing for a really economical car with conventional engine is a better alternative. Hybrids are just not good enough to justify a purchase.

ROFL, I just found out today that Spiked, the site you just cited, is just the same site that used to be known as "Living Marxism", the monthly review of the Revolutionary Communist Party, so I guess you've gone over to the other side now, ali

Here's something of a little exposé on them.

They got into big trouble after denying that the genocide in Rwanda ever occurred. They lost a court case over it, in fact, after accusing ITN journalists of fabricating evidence (sound familiar?).

This all says more about the calibre of Global Warming Deniers than I ever could. Thanks for making all my points for me ali, I appreciate it!

Not to mention you're living in Sydney. Lucky bastard....

Anyway, there was this discussion pro contra AGW in NY and the skeptics swayed the audience to their side:

Looks like the lunatics realy have taken over the asylum.

I'm against genocide, but I'd make an exception for global warming deniers...

Fascinating that a pair of dismal, extremely stupid and obtuse dumb bastards kept this thread going so long.

To the well-meaning guys: save your breath, or typing. Primitive idiots will be idiots. You can't change them.

And discussing climate change with an utter clown that thinks Ali G is really happening is tragically unfunny. Let the jerk wallow in his sad life.

I wish I could be there the day the cop cars surround your moms house and take you out of the basement in cuffs and hear the neighbors describe you to the TV reporters as "I knew that icky loner guy was going to be trouble".

Czech President denounces GW as New Marxism. Unsurprisingly, the media ignore it, maybe because he's no communist nutter like Chavez or Castro.

Wonder why this wasn't picked up by the mainstream media:

Uh, I saw it on BBC News and Huffington Post. It's not everywhere because it's a non-story.

It's called climate change, dummy. It doesn't just get hotter everywhere.

What a putz, by the way, reviving a thread from March, over a dust of snow in Rio.

Start a new thread if you want to express your outrage over the intentional suppression of evidence that the climate is getting weird and unsettling.

LIKE SNOW IN BRAZIL, where it's winter I might add.

They already did start a new thread, the last thing we need is yet another one. Let's keep all the tardery in as few threads as possible!

Speaking of which, I could do with a sprinkling of your good sense in that other thread Deschanel... seems like the lunatics are taking over the asylum, and I don't know if I have the patience to school the special ed kids all by myself.

good sense?

in another thread, deschael who's gay and apparently cant even tolerate the watered down western style religious in his own country was on board for Hamas because they were voted in by the people apperently over there and suggested our government doesnt like it when regimes they dont agree with get voted in by the people.

I like it when you pro alternate lifestyle types sell out your own kind and lifestylesto make a point against bush.ah the wonder of living safely in the west being able to be whimiscal on serious issues.

viva Hamas!
