two?! I've only heard one extended mix (with the guitar riff). :(
The remix by Julian Mendelsohn with the LOOOOOONG break

The remix by Marshall Jefferson with the LOOOOOONG intro
thanks! these aren't official, right? I don't see them on the official site products section. I just see the extended mix (which I've heard - with the long guitar riff toward the end; the track is 10:40 mins long). and I see something called the BB remix. I shall have to find these two that you mentioned!
I wooooooooooooooood if I cooooooood...

Yes, the new stuff is great, but they'll never recapture the magic of Please-Very. Never.

Was P'95 a bad idea? Was West End girls '85 a bad idea (it hit #1 you know)?

Lucas.
Only two? :naughty:

Paninaro was remixed because of Alternative. IMO, it should have been left alone but that was 11 years back now.

West End girls was a completely different kettle of fish. The track had potential and needed to be re-recorded to get that first hit.

I think it lacks creativity and idea if they remix and re-release an old track just for the sake of it. The lads churn out quality material time after time and should feel no need to re-issue and older stuff.

However, remixing old stuff for bonus CD tracks is fine with me. I would love to see studio versions of the live versions that they do but I cant ever see it happening.

I'll go now, Carry on.

The two Being Boring mixes are official.

On commercial CD and VINYL format you will see them on Being Boring and Being Remixed.

My pick

It's a sin 2006.

I'd love a shiny and new bit of Rent, like at XFM.
