Went to Christmas lunch at a friend's place. She hosts it every year for those of us who are too broke/busy to go down south and be with family.
There was turkey, ham, pumpkin, potatoes, rice, a couple of different salads, and pumpkin pie! Haven't had that in years. And, of course, there were mince pies, panettone, and lovely brandy custard.
Took the kids swimming, spent the evening recovering and watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
I got a slew of gift cards and money. Guess I'll be hitting the Boxing Day sales today!
Hope everyone else had a great Christmas!

I saw in a shop, a few days ago, another great Christmas tree, having at the top a little cow - instead of the star
