Finally we have something in common.

You are a prime example here, you don't like these threads, said that you were leaving them but have chosen to come back. Why? If you don't like it that I don't agree with a lot of what you say and can't accept that then don't reply. I have no problem with you or anybody having an opinion no matter what it is (as long as it is not inciting murder or hatred of course) even if I don't agree and all I expect is to be treated the same. Easy really isn't it? Too often in these topics the actual point of discussion is taken away and pointed somewhere else. All it is is people changing the subject and avoiding actually coming up with a valid reason for an opinion. At least I fight for what I believe, even if it seems to be hard to take for some whom can't stand to be challenged and questioned.

Is it too difficult for people to express their disgust at British born terrorists that are beheading people in the name of religion? People educated into thinking like they do in our country? That terrifies and deeply offends me! Does it not others? To me it is a massively important issue that for some people is even incredibly difficult to accept as a problem in the first place! I just don't get it sometimes, I really don't! Why the drama around discussing something that is incredibly important and a major issue in the country today. Make no doubt about it, if it was a British born Christian beheading a Muslim their would be murderous riots here the like we have never seen before. But the other way round and people are scarred and offended to talk about it! It's puzzling and incredibly scary in it's own right.

Of course we share your disgust.

Your assumption that we dont, warns any sensible person not to respond.

People are not allowed to disagree with you, that's not a discussion, that's you ranting.

Like many others here - I'd imagine - I've become drained by your incessant bile, inference and childish prose.

You clearly want people to rush up posting "oh my god, isn't it just awful, etc etc etc." A bit like the kind of weirdo attention seekers who post a un-simley face on their Facebook wall fishing for people to flock in with "awww, what's the matter hon" etc etc.

That kind of attention seeking just has the opposite effect with me and I guess many others on this forum. We are PSB fans after all with all the intellectual snobbery and superiority that comes hand in hand with being a fan. It just makes me want to antagonise you rather than reward your behaviour with the kind of response you are looking for.

Is that right James! So such things shouldn't be discussed then because it is apparently "attention seeking"! Come on man, you know that is rubbish. I don't mind you disagreeing with me or anything but why try and silence me and why have such a problem with such discussions? I think it is important and normal to discuss such things and I don't know why people have such a problem.

And raggatwin, people are allowed to disagree with me and I am allowed to disagree with them too. That is what I think you don't like and get. That is what discussion is all about, people having different views.

And Gregf, of course I know that most people share my disgust, why then do people have such a problem talking about it? My answer? Fear. Like always.

This is a good topic that needs to be spoken about. But of course if you don't want to and don't like the topic then simply ignore it! Easy!

When will the penny drop that it's not the subject, it's your attitude, that deters people from commenting.

Well, my attitude is to stick to what I believe and I won't change that, but you are right in the fact that I react to provocation which is silly and which I shouldn't because there are some obvious wind up merchants here.

But we have the right to discuss what we want here and some people have to accept that we all have different opinions. Plain and simple. And people do comment but normally the subject matter is avoided which is a shame.

I do not see here, on this forum, 50 page fulls, of hate written by Muslims against the West.

I do see here, in this place, 50 pages inciting hatred of Muslims.

This is not a political discussion problem.

It is planned and deliberate racism for a political purpose.

Just as it always has been.

It is shameful that the PSB forum is a participant.

You're not sorry if it offends anyone though are you? Just more and more hatred. You're the Daily Mail personified, and shameless is what you are.

No one on the forum wants to be force fed this stuff over and over. We can all read the news on the internet, in newspapers and watch it on TV and make our own minds up, so who are you preaching to and what is the point? You're convincing no-one, pissing off many, and poisoning the forum. Please stop.

Yes because a forum dedicated to two gay men should certainly not address the ideology of fundamentalist Islam, should it?
