Enjoyed that. All three sounded like they could have made that three hours effortlessly.

It's Feil..Patrick Bateman wrote: Sun 07 Apr 2024, 7:04 pmMaybe it's not actually Neil. If you see him barefoot on the album sleeve, you'll know the truth.Harry wrote: Sun 07 Apr 2024, 6:00 pm
I’ve been noticing this for a while now, and it doesn’t seem to be changing back to how it was. It might be an age thing, or it might be damage from Covid or another infection.
Neil will have access to the best health expertise though, so if his voice was deteriorating or it was a more serious problem, presumably he wouldn’t be lining up interviews and live dates.
Any experts on the forum? I think it’s just Neil’s new voice and we’ll get used to it.![]()

Enjoyed the listening - great to hear that fun drives their music creation - no hard boiled business plan.

Neil's probably got a long cold. I bet nigh on everyone in the UK has had some dort of bloody illness in the past 3 months. Covids got nothing on this shit.

Mine too - there's some personal connection to it I'm not prepared to get into here, but it usually brings a tear to my eye when I hear it. Beautiful song.

With lining up interviews and concerts, I can't help but feel they're contractually obligated.Harry wrote: Sun 07 Apr 2024, 6:00 pmI’ve been noticing this for a while now, and it doesn’t seem to be changing back to how it was. I notice it's the same structure of only BBC promotions. No doubt it's part of a deal PSB have.
It pains me to think they're forced do these interviews. It's practically even addressed in this one, the first
question is about whether they want to be there. It's reassuring in a way, how they say they wouldn't be there
if they weren't happy with it, but to me it is suspect.

They probably are contracted to promote the album, given Parlophone's investment.
But it's what you do to sell records and gig tickets, unless you're Beyonce

I recall something Tom Watkins said in an interview where he mentioned that they hated doing "promotion", but he replied (quite rightly in my opinion) that no one else is going to do it for you.

For the record: Neil sound less croaky on the latest podcast hosted by Smash hits colleagues (Which was apparently recorded in a warehouse...)
