Please, on cassette. Spent a fortune of my pocket $ and EMI Malaysia has put out a horrible sound quality tape, the sound range was bad and flat. Went to get it replaced but it was all the same. I was devastated for years, until I got my CD copy.

The original Opportunities 12" in 1985 - I was working in a record shop at the time.....kept playing it...everybody thought I was mad...then West End girls came out (12" of course - well several actually, bought them all because I was wise to the "ZTT marketing strategy") when I'd started Nursing School towards the end of '85...and people started to think I was onto something....and then it became a hit...and...

Bilingual tape in september 96, I think. After that I bought Bilingual special edition limited on cd in 97. My first single was I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more in August 99, I think. And the first vinyl was Introspective (only 6€ ;D).

West End Girls on vinyl. At the time, I tried to imitate Neil walking in the street, without smiling... I was 12! :D

First PSB purchase- I got Please on cassette for my 13th birthday using money sent from my grandparents.

First CD- I believe it was Can you forgive her? Or Was it worth it?

First vinyl- Was on a school orchestra trip to Vienna and bought Jealousy on 7" and 12" along with the DJ Culture and Was it worth it? on 7"....

Please cassette, in seventh grade back in '86. My second and third purchase was the US 7" and 12" vinyl.

After that was the Disco cassette.

It's a Sin (well my Mum bought it) and I kept playing 'You know where you went wrong'. there was a scratch on the record, so it played the funny metal noise sound for about 10 minutes before you got into the actual song.

The actual first PSB record I bought myself was Being Boring. Again it was the flipside I always played.

I bought Actually and Disco on cassette and Please on vinyl all within 24 hours. Sadly I can't remember in which order. At the same time I bought U2's Joshua Tree. Those were my first four albums. Three of them I've played to death, the fourth I hardly touched. No points for guessing which three.

First 7": Always On My Mind, which was also the first 7" I ever bought.

First 12": Heart, which was NOT the first 12" I bought - that was "That's The Way It Is" by Mel & Kim (and what a mighty fine 12" that was!)

Very, Lego-version CD. Just when it had been released. My father bought it for me, something he has regretted doing ever since. He hates the PSB. :D

I bought Introspective and Duran Duran's "Big Thing" both on casette in '89. At first I liked the Duran Duran album better. Fortunately common sense soon prevailed.

The first PSB record I bought was "Disco". My first 7 and 12 inch singles were both "It's a sin".
