I was in Berlin last week on a short break (birthday present from fiancée), and I have to admit I was looking rather carefully at all the paintings in the Neue Nationalgalerie for inspiration ....Pani wrote:I'm researching dates on the internet, there are two Gerhard Richter
exhibitions in Hamburg from February until May 2011. I will be going

Re: Whats up today....
Oh, that's very nice of the fiancée! It's an interesting spring, there's these
two Gerhard Richter exhibitions, there's an exhibition in the Weserburg (mu-
seum of contemporary modern art in my hometown) where works of art by
Beuys and Warhol can be seen, and finally there's another exhibition here
called 'Mördermappe' where an artist shows his litho printings of well known
mass murderers. Well, it's a bit morbid ...
Last year I saw a Frida Kahlo retrospective in Berlin (Gropius Bau) and Rizzi
in my hometown. The Rizzi one was also huge, it was nearly all of his work.

Oh dear. American Football has to be the worst sport ever.
''I'll pass to you, then we will all stand about for half hour.''
When i went to Canada & America a few years ago, we went to see what all the fuss was about. we were in the ground over 4 hours
Baseball is better

yeah baseball is better. but your football will just never catch on here.
it just too low scoring in relation to the length of a game.I keep reading about the amount of strategy involved, but quite frankly when you spend that long at a game and the final score is 2-1, at somepoint "strategy"...and lucky shot might as well be the same thing.

Fair enough. Each to their own but when you go watch a 'soccer' match, you are in the ground for about 2 hours and watching the game you went to see. Not some moron running up and down sawing a tree stump up every 20 minutes

Re: Whats up today....
well if by "in the ground for 2 hours " you mean is the sense of me being dead and inactive, yeah, that would actually describe what watching people run around for long stretches at a time thru seemingly no benefit to either sides team was like.
cripes sake and I dont even think you people have hot cheerleaders either.give me something to sweeten the deal.

Like patrick said, cheerleaders are up there with nurses. However, that's just another example why American Football is the worst sport ever. The actual entertainment isn't the game itself
Also, running around for 90 minutes is better than standing still chanting numbers, throwing the ball to someone, moving on 2 yards and then going to a commercial break
*edit* I've put it on. It's already been on for 2 and a half hours and it doesn't finish for another 3 hours.
LMAO. The Black Eyed Pea's are on. WTF is happening here?
Skateboarding is better than this dross.

ROTFLMAO @ this . Only in America. It's half time and the Black eyed Pea's are doing a full scale concert in the middle of the pitch with loads of people running all over. They are just chanting random stuff. Now singing Sweet Child o' Mine. Was that Axl Rose doing a cameo?
Usher has turned up. What next? E.T doing a flypast on his shopper?

Are American footballers ever drug tested? I get the impression it'd be harder to find one drug free than using.

This has to be the longest last two minutes to a game outside of Old Trafford.

oh geez listen to you two. "worst sport ever?". I just watched a game where the final score was,
31-25. with your score statistics your watching a 2 hour relay race.I will say that halftime show was terrible.
anyways the ridgemaster won 300 dollars.
