They shouldn't let anyone remix any of the songs.kennym wrote: Great shout. Some folk on here think you can only remix a fast song..
Not really. Half the people who were watching would have watched in pubs and clubs and gone out to beat people up by the time BBC ended. Also, a lot of people would have turned the t.v off anyway!kennym wrote:Publicly aired to over 20 million?

Why do I get the sinking feeling that the Party Song "bonus" track is going to be furtively slipped on to the infernal DVD while Bright Young Things will be tacked on to Trevor's ostentatiously butchered Numb?
Let's hope they go back to the old-style German maxi single with Numb and the two b-sides on one disc. It's already irritating that tracks are being spread around less accessible formats (Psychological to the 12") without the b-sides taking up residence on a DVD single that 1) nobody wants to stock, and 2) nobody can play on a CD player.
Drico.

Re: Confirmed "Numb" will be next single
Pet Shop Girl wrote:The next PSB single will be "Numb", released on October 16 in an edit with new production by Trevor Horn. Bonus tracks will be "Party song" and "Bright young things", the former produced by Pet Shop Boys and the latter by Pet Shop Boys and Chris Zippel. A new dance mix of "Psychological" by Ewan Pearson will also be included on a limited edition 12" vinyl release. Full format details will be here when we have them.
The video for "Numb" (edited to the original album version) has recently been completed and is described by the directors as "an icy emotional landscape of borrowed dreams, sewn together with the power and style of Russian constructivist cinema".
From the official site, the video will also be shown later on on the site.
