- Give such an outstanding show people wanted you to win
- Have more than 30 years of career
- Have been more times in the festival

So they are not going to win it.
I don’t think they care too much.

These trophy’s are kinda ridiculous, aren’t they? Anyway, I felt pretty embarrassed by the overblown spectacle before they finally got to play West End girls. ;)

I see what you mean and it's true but at the same time I love that enthusiasm you miss sometimes in PSB. They really appreciate it.

I've been watching some interviews from after the concert and YouTube comments from people who were there, and the opinion is practically unanimous: very positive. And most of them aren't even as big fans as we are.

The prices gave me a shock until I remembered the exchange rate! I hope some of you get to go. I wonder if it will be a scaled down Dreamworld or an Obscure preview.

Wow, wouldn't that be crazy to do an Obscure preview show there! I'd have mixed feelings about that - It'd be cool, but I sort of feel like it lessens the Obscure shows for April. That being said, not long now for those, so they must have everything figured out for those by now, so why not give the show an airing to see how it works out with a friendly audience.

How big is this venue? Similarly small?

EDIT: 5400 so quite a bit bigger than the 1500 of Electric Ballroom.

Well, the label „club show“ is a bit misleading. The Teatro Caupolicán has a capacity of 7.000. But nice to see that they‘ve added a show so spontaneously.

In the club or in the bigger venue than a club but not as big as an arena queue?

This looks like a proper arena.

I was at a Muse gig with around 7000 capacity and it wasn't super huge.

That pic is a little deceptive.

I think it would be totally crazy if they announced a show without any details, the audience came expecting their hits, and then found themselves with a selection of songs that (except for the fans) they've never heard and won't be able to enjoy. I fear it would be a disappointment for most of the attendees, especially if they're excited after having heard their hits at the festival two days ago and they want to enjoy them once again...

I'm so happy and pleased to read most of you got a better idea of what this festival is about. As I said from the begining, it's different, and it should be taken for what it is, doesn't need to be compared.
Then, the ones that haven't understood what happened last night or refuse to do so, it really doesn't matter... the smiles on Neil & Chris + Pop Kids faces said it all, and that is what counts :)

About the show on Saturday - it got sold out in a couple of hours

Thanks for all the links and info, I haven't been able to keep up. I'm living the dream and enjoying it in real time :)
Give me hope, keep me sane.

Chileans living in their own Dreamworld right now, huh? That’s amazing that the Boys were able to add the third show AND sell it out so fast.

Why do other Euro acts have a problem with this festival? Are they too cool to get down with the idea of a Seagull shaped award presented mid-set?
For your own good, call me tonight.

I've looked it up, and this is a list of artists and groups that have participated in this festival throughout its history. Absolutely all the best Latin and Spanish artists since it began in the 1960s. And many have performed several times. Everyone here will recognize Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Julio Iglesias, Shakira, Bad Bunny, and Ricky Martin, to name a few.

Then they try to bring one or two English-speaking artists per year. This list would include:
Laura Branigan
Modern Talking
INXS
Europe
Kool and the Gun
Vengaboys
Duran Duran
Albert Hammond
Backstreet Boys
Two Unlimited
Toto
Safri Duo
A-ha
Bryan Adams
Earth, Wind & Fire
Nelly Furtado
Simply Red
Paul Anka
Sting
Morrisey
Jonas Brothers
Elton John
Rod Stewart
Cat Stevens
Lionel Ritchie
Rick Astley
Jamiroquai
Maroon 5
Christina Aguilera

So the „Super“-tour were club shows only …
