I have a copy of the 6LP edition (black) and I think I'm going to return it.
The side A of LP1 is off center. So are side A and B on LP6.
And there is a problem with LP5. The edges have not been trimmed. But more importantly, there is some vinyl residue from the center hole punch that went through the inner sleeve. Hence I cannot place the disc on the turntable on that side. It's not flat.

Just canceled my German order €172 can order from the U.K for £ 118, even postal handling fee that is cheaper than from Germany.

Strange days indeed. Miss the days of local record shops but my favourite mail order is still around, have been ordering music from them since the early 90's. Never really any problems.

I am pretty sure this is the unreleased first version on Smash.
Really confused.com.

I just compared the intros back to back and the person on PopArt has lots of fuzzy dialogue samples which I assume are from the West Side Story film, nothing resembling a song called One Hand On Heart to my knowledge (though those words are spoken by Chris on the Ext Mix).

The Smash version seems too be just a 'clean' mix without the dialogue?
They had to remove the spoken Chris part One Hand One Heart from the Somewhere single version. Because they did not have clearance. The version on Smash I believe is the same original version that was on the bootleg Demography. I'd have the play it to find out. But I am pretty sure what is on Smash is what the version the PSB wanted to originally release as the Somewhere 7" single. This also explains why the Somewhere extended mix did not show up on the single release. A few weeks later they had clearance to use those words and they were able to include it on Bilingual Special Edition.

That Smash version of Somewhere can also be heard on the digital version of PopArt (as I discovered earlier today through Amazon Music). So it's not new and it has been available (at least on streaming services) for a while now.

Amazon Music tend to mix up tracks from different releases. You'll notice it's uitra hd and other tracks are just hd which suggests they've just tagged on the track from Smash.

If you listen on Spotify or Apple Music it's the correct version from PopArt so it suggests the Smash version is new.

I’m really disappointed with the upscaled videos on the Blu-ray. It’s used indiscriminately and at far too high a level, resulting in odd outlines around everything. Also, looks like they’ve chucked way too much DNR at it too, so virtually all “grain” and detail is lost, particularly in long shots. It’s really noticeable on I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more and So hard.

In addition, the Blu-ray sound is hideously brickwalled.

Doesn't the Somewhere version on Smash just have a slightly louder orchestral intro to cover up the lack of Menace II Society samples that have been sliced out for some reason? (When the riots stopped etc..) That's my theory anyway. Don't think it's anything to do with the One Hand, One Heart issues.

That is dreadful. Hope you can get a better copy. Also hope that they're not all like that as I want to try and get it at some point.

As with the different ending to 'I Want To Wake Up ' on the 'Actually' remaster, it makes me always listen to the original CD pressings as the definitive versions, despite the rereleases.
I didn't know there was a different ending to IWTWU on the remaster. How is it different?
Since the 2001 remaster of "Actually", "I want to wake up" goes: "..with youu..uuuhhh" at 4:21, when it was "..with youuu..ooohhh" on the previous releases of the album. WEIRD!
Something similar happened with the 2018 remaster of "Please" where we got an alternative version of "Violence" with an extra "..violence.." at 1:21 wich was absent on all the previous releases.
I wasn´t aware that there was something similar with the "Love etc." version on the "Yes" remaster (and now Smash)! I´ll check that now!

I´m also interested to know if there is any other difference of this kind that I´m missing here...anybody?
This is not my signature.

On SMASH they also revisited the original Go West single edit. On the 2001 reissue, PopArt und Ultimate there's a slight difference at 4:24 just before the instrumental bit.
