Yeah, this is right. Being publicly funded, the BBC has to appear totally imparital in UK politics - hence all 3 major UK parties being represented - Blair, Cameron and Campbell. It appears that the "boys" didn't have enough time to make rubber masks of these other non-entities, wheras Bush & Blair are widely available, as evidenced at every protest rally going.

That's so dumb - they're only dancing!

Ergo if Tony Blair appears on Strictly Come Dancing then the other two have to as well.

I agree. Oh no, Neil thanked the audience... what a crime!

Just my imagination or Neil couldn't follow his own voice's tune? Not bad anyway. Next time put the tape louder.

I think it sounded ok, but it's a hard one for him to recreate live. I don't know if anyone noticed, but the vocals of I'm with stupid sound to me like they've been heavily auto-tuned. There's something un-natural about them. :?

I thought it was great. Neil looked fab, Chris looked like Chris :)

Some people were unispired? Man, there have been much worse appearances by PSB on TOTP.

neil is obviously singing along with himself.and its hard to hit all the notes right hence why the vocals seem weird

The light show was nice. The performance, not so good. We can all have our opinions, but if I cringed during certain moments, which I did, then I obviously did not care much for it.

2 thumbs up once again to You Tube though. That site is quickly becoming the greatest thing to hit the internet in a very long time.

Masks subject explained on the official site:

TOTP masks - 23 April '06
Pet Shop Boys performed their new single, "I'm with Stupid" on "Top of the Pops" this evening on BBC2.
If anyone watching was wondering about the masks being worn by the dancers they were of Tony Blair, George W Bush, Bill Clinton, Vladímir Putin, David Cameron (current UK Conservative leader) and Mezies Cameron (current UK Liberal Democrat leader).
Originally there were three Tony Blairs and three George Bushs but the BBC insisted that for "political balance" the other UK political party leaders had to be shown and that there could be only one Blair and one Bush. Luckily Putin and Clinton masks were acquired from a party shop while PSB management and make-up staff made quick Cameron and Campbell masks from newspaper photographs!

How is the stream (loading time etc)? It took a while to upload it, and since then has been running slow for me!

Thanks, Dave, for the link. I think it was delightful. This song is going to be very big for our Boys.
I realize TOTP may not be the coolest show on the air these days but, just out of curiosity - how many acts from 20 years ago are still appearing on TOTP?
I like it here ~~ wherever it is ...

Dave, both times I watched it, I personally had no stalling or loading issues, which I honestly have happen quite often with a good 65% of You Tube videos. It loaded beautifully on my side upon the first press of play.
