What I meant about potentially restrictive moderation on an official psb board was with regard to what the Pets would allow to be discussed. Imagine, for example, that a poster discovered some hot news long before the Pets wanted to officially announce it - say, details of a new album or tour. Would the posters be allowed to discuss such things or would threads be deleted?
Fans would automatically leave to a forum where they CAN discuss rumours. Online censorship doesn't work. I heard that you get a ban on the Erasure forum, when you talk about sales figures. That's an absolute no-go for PSB fan forums.

Moderation is not meant to limit the freedom of speach, but it's necessary to prevent a forum from trolls and psychopats. Since this is the most active PSB forum, this is also the place where most trolls will appear.

Just to be sure: this is the *same* Lydia who recently stated in public that Neil had done something horrible to her, and she wouldn't send him his annual birthday wish? (as if Neil cares). If that Lydia forum is so good, I'm sure she can explain why 2/3 of all members never bothered to make even one post.
Pet Shop Girl wrote:It is without question that they browse through the general section here and on Lydia's forum. Not sure where else.
IF they browse forums, this forum and Lydia forum are the only ones that make sense to browse.

Message from Lydia to dVtb: Lydia the same who organized secretly a present for neil to give him a big surprise, never speak of what you dont know dvtb.

She read what you said here, I can't see what you say.

Why would one of them coming here be "good for you"? Does your skin become better? Do you get colds less frequently? Does the music cheer you up more? I seriously don't know.

She stated in public that Neil had done something horrible to her. There's nothing untrue about what I said. And if you refuse to read what I say, why do you communicate with me? That's a bit hypocrite.

BTW: Pity that Lydia didn't answer the second half of my question...

do not waste a single BIT discussing about that person. It doesn't worth the use of a single neuron.

By the way, if most of you are interested, I could ask the boys if they are keen on posting here.

Of course, we should have a Q&A section, separately from this one, where Neil & Chris will be the only ones with attributes to REPLY.

BPSB
Neil Tennant has a great voice, Chris Lowe has great silence.

Edit: the Tennant-Lowe is down for several days, due to paypal payment problems.
Is this the curse of PSB? Is this God punishing immediately? Or just coincidence?

At least Neil & Chris will now only have ONE forum to check out. :)

She probably asked Neil to bail her out with some cash to pay for her forum, thats why she threw the tantrum not long ago. Added to that, her threat to smash him over the head with a bottle a while back, i doubt anyone could take her seriously. Especially with her 700+ ghost members.

You do but thats nothing to do with record company rules, thats down to the bullying moderator tactics by Greg etc. I once posted sales figures for Nightbird and a single. They were very poor but he argued the fact and wouldn't even believe the music week link i sent. The next day, it was against rules to discuss sales. Mute said so

LOL. The word "sale figures" would be more appropiate here...

Perhaps. I'm not able to judge that anymore.

But I was talking about forums that are worth to check out. If I want information, I check out news websites or sources like Wikipedia. A forum is not meant to be informative. It's meant for discussion.

Steve/Dave,

What do you have against Lydia, BrilliantPSB? Anyway, to answer you Ray, I just say that does not matter whether they get on here or not. If they do then good, I am glad, why not. Its not every day that you hear of the band coming through one of their forums or fan forums. This is a free forum so I can say whatever I want.
