whatever same idea. I mean looking at that list there are some deserving artists obviously, but come on, erasure woulnt be out of place with some of that lot.

if you consider even one a weak link in that list,(and quite frankly I see at least 4) then throw erasure on.

Oh you cannot have a negative opinion on Erasure without the loyal few coming out of the woodwork with their shaking fists. This place temporarily turns into the The Damned. It will quieten down once their carers find them and then they will trot off back home to discuss how many felt tipped pens you should get free with the new album

bottom line is they don't deserve one now or ever and nothing that anyone has said has changed my mind about that fact. Reason i started this thread was cos i read an erasure forum that someone linked to and they were all sayin that erasure should get one. No way!

Well, I and many others believe that they do deserve one and nothing that anybody has said has changed my mind about that erm "fact"?

The problem is that being as you don't like their music I think it is fair to say that you are not in the best position to judge. Fans of most groups that have been going all this time and with 5 number 1 albums to their name would probably think they deserve an award like that! PSB would not be getting this award if they still needed to be top of the charts, because quite simply they are not!
