Does anyone think Vince and Andy would benefit from splitting up and starting new groups? It's obvious that electronic music is still popular, so would it benefit them to do so?

Vince should have dissolved Erasure fifteen years ago when they'd still have been remembered as a great pop group. He is obviously more into his family these days, which is the consequence of having a straight and a gayer in a duo. I wonder why PSB have never grown apart, seeing as only one of them's actually gay.

Andy still thinks it's 1988 and he's twirling around on Top of the Pops. He'll be the same in twenty years time.

I have to admit that I am one of those Erasure fans who for the first time is not buying all Erasure related singles. The last one I bought was the single from the 2007 album that wasn't Sunday Girl (can't even remember the name off the top of my head, that's how great a track it was). I've just lost interest. They could at least do a Loveboat thing, even if Loveboat was a deeply flawed album, it was INTERESTING and EXPERIEMENTAL.

Hmmm, looks like Bell is already planning his next single. 'Honey If You Love Him.' I thought this sounded ok until he started singing stupid stuff. A decent backing track though. However, i need some help. Below is the link to the video and i really need someone to tell me whats going on.

I prefer his vocals when they've not been digitally manipulated.

I haven't listened to the album but to my ears the first two singles are no worse than anything Erasure have released over the past 10 years. If anything I prefer the solo singles because they at least sound a little different.

Sign of the times that the single couldn't even make the top 200. I always knew that acts with longstanding loyal fanbases were having an easier go of things in the low sales climate of the mid-00's but am still surprised by how far some have fallen now that volume has returned to the market and the cd single has become so obsolete. I haven't been keeping track lately but lots of acts who used to have a floor under all their chart positions have seen that floor drop out from under them as the cd single has faded from the public consciousness. For what it's worth I just checked and the last two Erasure singles opened with 7000 and 3400 copies respectively. That's about enough to chart at #40 and #75 right now. So that's the best they have to look forward to on their next album and that's only if they can maintain those sales levels.
